Psychotherapy is a sacred trust. I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, and families, for almost 30 years. Each year has made me increasingly aware of the impact of multiple systems on individual, marital and family development, and of the healing power of the therapist/client relationship. I strive to maintain a holistic vision that takes into account the psychological, physical, social, and spiritual influences impacting the lives of my clients.
In response to the growing societal problems of cybersex addiction and sexual compulsivity, I’ve received specialized training in working with sex addicts, their partners and children, through IITAP’s Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist training program developed by Patrick Carnes, Ph.D.
I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT), and a member of the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH).
I currently maintain a part-time practice and work only with adults and later-aged adolescents. At the current time I am not taking on new clients as I will be retiring from clinical work May 1, 2015.
